Shadow Worker vs Lightworker - Divisiveness in the Spiritual Community

I have noticed a lot of divisiveness within the Spiritual Community and it's not surprising as all communities share diversity of opinion but it has been notable to me so I will speak on it.

Some want to call themselves "Lightworkers" some want to call themselves "Shadowworkers" some "Lighthouses" etc... whatever label you desire to call yourself remember that we are all human at the end of the day and it is not these labels that define us; rather our actions. No one individual is better than the next even if you attempt to "label" yourself as such. You can call yourself a Grand Master Healer Goddess of the Universe and your still no better than anyone else. The labels you identify with are chosen because you resonate with them. Usually they represent your experiences in life and are suggestive of where you are on your Spiritual Path. To separate and classify individuals by these "labels" and to call each other out by these "labels" serves no purpose other than division. Not all "Lightworkers" hold the same belief systems as other self proclaimed "Lightworkers" and not all "Shadowworkers" hold the same belief systems as other self proclaimed "Shadowworkers". The truth is we all carry a bit of both Shadow and Light and our unique belief systems will vary on an individual basis.

No matter which end of the spectrum you resonate with do your best not to judge others for their belief systems for you do not know their path or their truth. As individuals our paths and truths are not the same as we each have different experiences in life that mold and shape is into who we are in each moment. These belief systems change throughout the course of our lives as we allow ourselves to learn, flourish and transform into greater versions of ourselves (if that's what we choose, sometimes we choose lesser versions but to each their own).

Grouping people under these label umbrellas creates separatism. I may not agree with your beliefs and you may not agree with mine but I'm gonna "do my best" to hear you out first before making any judgements based on how you "label" yourself.

As for me, I choose to walk amidst the cool, misty fog and stick with the gray area, the in between. My bias of an individual comes strictly from how they present themselves in the present moment and how they treat others with respect and compassion.

I also use labels, we all do but use your judgement and try not to sow the seeds of division and separatism within our beautiful community. If an "individual" gives you reason to judge their character through their "individual" actions then base your judgement solely on that "individual" and not an entire group of people who identify with a label that feels good to them. As with all things the actions of one or even several do not portray the actions or beliefs of the whole.

This post is in defense of both self proclaimed "Lightworkers" and self proclaimed "Shadowworkers". I love people on both sides of the coin. So you can call me a "Mistworker" lmao... because I live in the gray area.

Love you all, keep shining your light and your dark upon the world. We need both to attain knowledge and grow together as the human race. Yin Yang Energy!!
